William "Skip" Dodge is an accomplished chemical engineer and pharmaceutical operations leader with more than 30 years of experience spanning research and development, manufacturing, process optimization, and regulatory affairs. He earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Skip began his career in research and development, spending six years focused on sulfated surfactants and consumer products, where he built expertise in process and product development, process modeling, and scale-up/start-up operations. He then transitioned into manufacturing engineering roles supporting sulfated surfactants, statistical process control, and operational excellence.
He then transitioned into biopharmaceutical manufacturing engineering, with 11 years dedicated to vaccine drug substance production, including process optimization, troubleshooting, and new facility design. He has spent the last 15 years in Regulatory Affairs Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC), leading approval efforts for new drug licenses across vaccines and small molecule products. His team is also responsible for post-approval lifecycle projects for a portfolio of biological and small-molecule medicines. His career reflects deep cross-functional expertise in translating scientific innovation into scalable, compliant manufacturing and regulatory success.
